Encountering God: 20 Years of Ministry Impact
The mission of SlavicWorship is to help people encounter God through Christ-empowered worship, which drives all our ministry efforts. Each conference, camp, or worship resource is designed to help individuals experience God's truth and love.
Over the past 20 years, our ministry has had an impact through:
SlavicWorship is helping people experience God's truth and love in transformative ways. As we move forward, we remain committed to our mission to help people encounter God through Christ-empowered worship.
Fine Arts Day Camp
Fine Arts Day Camp for children is a week long program emphasizing that God is the Great Creator who created us in His image. In this program children will be able to explore different facets of creativity through classes in Bible, singing, acting, choreography, stage design and art. Throughout the week children prepare a musical production that is performed as an outreach to their friends and family. Another feature of the camp is the opportunity to practice English with native speakers in a friendly and fun way.

Soli Deo Gloria
Worship Conference
The Soli Deo Gloria Worship Conference (SDG) is a high-caliber event focused on equipping pastors, worship leaders, and their teams—including musicians, sound technicians, songwriters, and stage designers. Participants receive instruction on the biblical theology of worship and practical worship skills. Our goal is to help them create an environment in their churches where individuals can encounter God’s truth and love through Christ-empowered worship.
The SDG conference provides a platform to model best practices, inspire creativity, and share innovative ideas for worship ministry. It also offers valuable opportunities for fellowship and encouragement.

Song and Training Resources
In Russian-speaking countries there are very few places where you can find worship music for church worship teams. SlavicWorship provides legal quality song translations of worship songs and hymns and also musicals and worship songs for children. We also are seeking Russian original worship songs to make available to churches. You can find these songs on our website RussiaWorship.ru. Many of these songs have been recorded and are also available on iTunes.

Encountering God: The Heart Behind SlavicWorship
Gerry Schroeder Shares the Passion behind SlavicWorship
As the founder of SlavicWorship, people often ask me, "Why do you do what you do? What motivates your ministry?"
I was recently reminded of our "ministry why" during the final performance of our 2024 Fine Arts Day Camp in Belgrade, Serbia.
This was the launch of our first FADC in Serbia. I remember sharing with Olga, "We've worked hard and prepared the best we can. We're physically spent. God has promised to do good works through us. And He will."
The first song began tentatively, but the children quickly found their footing, relying on their training and gradually easing into the performance. The audience's supportive applause boosted their confidence. By the time we reached the satirical song "Poor, Poor Pharaoh," where five campers performed as an "air blues band," everyone on stage had shifted from merely performing to having fun.
Then came a key moment in the musical. The campers were singing their hearts out. The lyrics were filled with phrases from Psalms 23 and 27, as well as a promise directly from Jesus:
I will fear no evil.
For my God is with me.
And if my God is with me,
Whom then shall I fear,
Whom then shall I fear?
Oh, Lord, You never let go…
Lord, You never let go of me.
Suddenly, the God who was strengthening me to do good works was speaking to my heart. By the first chorus, I was teary-eyed. Inside, I was standing up, fist in the air, shouting, "YES! And AMEN! You NEVER let go of ME!"
Nothing in my life compares to God speaking to me when I encounter Him. For over 50 years, I've experienced this many times. Our SlavicWorship team and I want others to experience God speaking to them with truth and love—to have their own moments of encountering God.
Simply put—we want to help Slavic people encounter God through Christ-empowered worship.
If you share our passion, we invite you to join us on this extraordinary journey. Your involvement—through prayer, financial support, or participating in a ministry project—can help create more moments where people encounter God's truth and love.
Together, we can help Russian-speaking people encounter God through Christ-empowered worship.
Encountering God through Christ-empowered Worship
Our Theological Premise
Scripture clearly states that salvation and adoption into God's family come by God's grace alone, through our faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is not something we can achieve through our own works. And yet, God is shaping us as His masterpieces, intending to carry out His good works. When we offer our lives as a living sacrifice for Him to work through us, this is our worship.
This principle is embodied in the five solae of the Protestant Reformation:
We were created to worship God by allowing Him to work through us in a relationship where He speaks to our hearts and we are able to know and experience His truth and love, ultimately to glorify Him. Embracing this profound relationship with God is transformational.
At SlavicWorship, we call this biblical concept: Christ-empowered worship. We are passionate about fostering an environment where people can encounter God through Christ-empowered worship.
